Meet the Team - Shannon

Say Hello to Shannon!

Shannon joined our team in October 2021, she is one of our fabulous Registered Veterinary Nurses and a wonderful Clinical Coach.

Shannon's favourite thing about Roundwoods is how supportive the team are and feels they are just like family.

“I like it here, there is a varied caseload. It keeps you busy without being overwhelmed. The team is great here too and everyone knows what they are doing”. Said Shannon.

However, the part of her job she loves the most is teaching and supporting the Student Nurses, creating the next generation of RVN’s.

Shannon wanted to become a Veterinary Nurse due to her love of animals and after completing a course on Animal Management at college she went on to start her career in Veterinary Nursing.

When she isn’t at work, Shannon loves socialising with friends, gaming, bingeing Netflix and crocheting. She is owned by her two cheeky cats Casper and Monkey.

Shannon is a fabulous team member, she really cares about the students she teaches and she is a great nurse, no matter the emergency, Shannon stays calm and focused and is a wonderful member of our team!
