We have been having fun interpreting some data over here at Roundwood Vets to work out what your favourite pet names are! Last week it was the turn of the dogs - this week we proudly present your top 5 cat names.

In joint first place we have Princess and Kitty! At the practice we have twenty four cats named Princess and twenty four Kitty's.

In second place, and again possibly inspired by a classic Disney film, we have twenty three cats called ‘Simba’.

This week in third place we have twenty two ‘Tiger's!’

And finishing up the list today is ‘Lucky’. As the name Lucky also featured in the top 5 dog names list, it actually is the most popular pet’s name at Roundwood Vets!

Dr. Hannah says, ‘We love hearing how clients choose names for their furry family - from ancient Egyptian goddesses to Japanese animation characters to famous singers, actors, composers. I can get a little nervous when I hear a client’s new pet is called Lucky. I know quite a few unlucky Lucky's, who have a few too many unlucky trips to see me! And the name Luna is definitely an up and coming popular choice. My favourite Roundwood pet name is Pusswari Naan.’
